UX Designer - content design (Honolulu, HI)

Silverline Kestrel Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Honolulu. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in supplier deliveries. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
