UX Designer - content design (Honolulu, HI)

Westbrook Pike Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
