UX Designer - content design (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Northwind Fox Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
