UX Designer - content design (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Kestrel Financial serves customers across Hartford with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Design for tasks around vendor spend that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in vendor spend. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
