UX Designer - content design (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Fern Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 449 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in survey data. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
