UX Designer - content design (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Fox Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for complaint handling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in complaint handling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
