UX Designer - content design (Fresno, CA)

Redstone Sparrow Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Fresno design routes and schedules. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fare systems. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
