UX Designer - content design (Fresno, CA)

Nova Haven Medical designs and makes medical devices in Fresno. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in production lots. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
