UX Designer - content design (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Cobalt Press and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around print quotes that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in print quotes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
