UX Designer - content design (Detroit, MI)

Bluepeak Kestrel Financial is a financial-services company in Detroit, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of about 951 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around customer onboarding that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
