UX Designer - content design (Detroit, MI)

Fernwood Hollow Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Detroit. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around clinic supplies that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
