UX Designer - content design (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Haven Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
