UX Designer - content design (Denver, CO)

Harborlight Corner Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Denver, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in tuition and subsidies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
