UX Designer - content design (Dallas, TX)

Bright Wren Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Dallas presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Design for tasks around event logistics that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in event logistics. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
