UX Designer - content design (Dallas, TX)

Bluepeak Beacon Press is a printer and publisher in Dallas serving local and national clients. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in proofing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
