UX Designer - content design (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Umber Banking Services and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in account openings. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
