UX Designer - content design (Columbus, OH)

Westbrook Granite Press produces print and digital publications in Columbus, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
