UX Designer - content design (Columbus, OH)

Foxglove Forge Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 706 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ticketing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
