UX Designer - content design (Colorado Springs, CO)

Lumen Vale Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in online orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
