UX Designer - content design (Cincinnati, OH)

Nova Lantern Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in Cincinnati caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
