UX Designer - content design (Cincinnati, OH)

Amberfield Wilder Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Cincinnati. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in meal programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
