UX Designer - content design (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Nova Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in food distribution. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
