UX Designer - content design (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Vista Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Families are partners. What you will do • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
