UX Designer - content design (Chicago, IL)

Foxglove Ivory Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in patient education. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
