UX Designer - content design (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Cedar Clear Health and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient education. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
