UX Designer - content design (Charlotte, NC)

Harborlight Cobalt Markets is a Charlotte retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 63 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in shrink and waste. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
