UX Designer - content design (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Maple Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
