UX Designer - content design (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Redstone Rook Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
