UX Designer - content design (Charlotte, NC)

Amberfield Corner Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
