UX Designer - content design (Charleston, SC)

Summit Maple Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Charleston, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
