UX Designer - content design (Charleston, SC)

Fernwood Summit Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 316 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
