UX Designer - content design (Charleston, SC)

Ironwood Beacon Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
