UX Designer - content design (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Loom Learning Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
