UX Designer - content design (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Ridge Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Buffalo, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in student accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
