UX Designer - content design (Buffalo, NY)

Westbrook Bright Community Partners is a nonprofit in Buffalo supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
