UX Designer - content design (Boston, MA)

Harborlight Sable Financial Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 103 people based in Boston. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
