UX Designer - content design (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Northwind Sable Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people based in Boise. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in meal programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
