UX Designer - content design (Baltimore, MD)

Bright Corner Early Learning Group operates neighbourhood childcare around Baltimore. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
