UX Designer - content design (Baltimore, MD)

Redstone Ivory Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Baltimore, and we need a UX Designer to lead our content design. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in insurance authorisations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
