UX Designer - content design (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Orchard Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around route schedules that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
