UX Designer - content design (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Lumen North Insurance Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
