UX Designer - content design (Atlanta, GA)

Fernwood Sable Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Atlanta with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in shrink and waste. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
