UX Designer - content design (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Umber Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in ridership counts. • Experience running usability tests.
