UX Designer - content design (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Vista Press and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
