UX Designer - content design (Anchorage, AK)

Clearpath Lantern Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for tuition and subsidies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in tuition and subsidies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
