UX Designer - content design (Albuquerque, NM)

Amberfield Vale Press is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for print quotes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around print quotes that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in print quotes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
