UX Designer - content design (Albuquerque, NM)

Redstone Ember Community Partners Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on content design for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
