UX Designer - accessibility review (Wichita, KS)

Nova Thistle Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Wichita, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in licensing records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
