UX Designer - accessibility review (Virginia Beach, VA)

Highbridge Amber Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Virginia Beach. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 443 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in premium billing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
