UX Designer - accessibility review (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Bright Medical Group is a Virginia Beach company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Design for tasks around clinical evaluations that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in clinical evaluations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
